On Thursday, April 6th, at 11:00 AM, police and emergency personnel were called to a Starbucks in Columbus, Georgia, due to a report of stabbing the parking lot. The Victim, who wishes to remain anonymous, is being treated for several knife wounds. Fortunately, they are not life-threatening. She reported that her and her attacker had never met before the incident. She was walking to her car when the man began to approach and attack her. Officers stated that a witness followed the suspect to his home, located on the 1900 block of 44th Street. The suspect was identified as Hannibal Chambers, and was arrested at 2:33 PM, just hours after the crime. Chambers is being charged with possession of a knife during the commission of crime, and is being held at the Muscogee County Jail without bond for a hearing at 9:00 AM on Saturday, April 8th, in Columbus Recorders Court.
