Over the past weekend you may have heard a lot of talk about the upcoming Golden State versus Oklahoma City game and more about their somewhat rival. The rivalry started when Kevin Durant, an original player from OKC (Oklahoma City), switched to player on Golden State. A lot of people were mad at Kevin because they thought that what he did was wrong since people felt that him and his old team mate Russell Westbrook were the star player and one without the other is an outrage.
At the last game that Kevin and his old team mate played against there had seemed to be a little back and forth trash talking between the two that was not just some friendly banter. As Kevin was on one side of the half court he was yelling across the court to Westbrook saying, “I’m coming, I’m coming.” Some took that as him saying that he was coming for Durant in the game. To add the cherry on top, Golden State won with the score being 130 -114.
Although that happen at the last game some do not think that there will be that much rivalry at the upcoming game because, Durant will be out with a grade 2 MCL sprain and a tibial bone bruise. However, that does not mean that the rest of his new team mates will keep the rivalry up between the two team. Tune into the intense game tonight at 8:00 pm on TNT.
