The health insurers were all gathered at the White House, Monday. The President and the Insurers had a lot to discuss, such as Trump’s first executive order which directed agencies to start rolling back Obamacare and Trump promised to unveil a plan to repeal and replace Obamacare. President Trump and other Republican leaders have repeatedly promised that they will not take coverage from those who currently have it through Affordable Healthcare Act. President Trump told the CEO’s that if the plan does not accomplish his goals, they will face his ire. Trump also told the CEO’s “if things don’t work out I’m blaming you” . Trump plan is to replace the nation’s health care law with one that include “ insurance for everyone”.
Trump told the press he expects Congress to address the issue in the coming weeks. The Obama Care repeal bill is expected to advance through the Senate without the threat of a Democratic filibuster. The House approved the resolution in an 227-198 vote. Trump even says “we’re going to get private insurance companies to take care of a lot of the people that can afford it. They’re going to be able to have plans that are great plan” .
